Antique Royal Doulton Lambeth Salt Glaze Jug – c.1910 Stoneware Tavern Scene Relief, Two Tone Brown & Tan Pottery Pitcher 21cm dip pen after Andreas Vesalius plate sizeA fine early 20th century Royal Doulton salt glazed stoneware jug, model no. 2679, dating from around 19021922. The jug features a rich two tone glaze in chocolate brown and warm ochre, decorated in relief with a lively tavern and rural scene including figures, windmill, and cottage details. The jug is well modelled with a ribbed handle and acanthus leaf terminal, typical of Doulton Lambeth craftsmanship of the Edwardian period. The interior is
