Historic Black History Photo African American Ofcrs Virginia Tobacco Trade Union militia Willie was a member ofExtremely rare and original photo showing the Officers of Tobacco Trade Union, taken in Petersburg, Virginia around 1899. The photographer's name REES is stamped on the mount just off of the lower right corner of the image. Mount dimensions are 10" x 8 1 8"; photo itself is 7 7 8" x 5 1 2". The only other example I can find of this historic image is in the collection of the Library of Congress, and I do not believe a photographer is attributed.
